Pink boost for cancer campaign
A SERIES of pink fundraising events on the Isle of Wight have raised hundreds of pounds for the national Breast Cancer Campaign.
Activities for the Isle of Pink event included a treasure hunt which raised £550, a Think Pink competition and donations at Flamingo Park, which raised £192; activities for the staff and animals at the Isle of Wight Zoo, which raised £100; and fundraising activities at The Needles, such as making pink sweets and competitions.
Staff at the Island’s steam railway also swapped their uniforms for pink outfits and raised £160.
