A CHARITY night of poetry, music and theatre is taking place in a Hampshire village to examine the necessity of war.
No Rhyme… No reason will explore themes of conflict using poetry and narration from the First World War right up to modern works by British soldiers stationed in Afghanistan.
The event, at the Thatched Barn in Warsash, will feature music specially written by Dr Who composer Roger Limb and poetry by 12-year-old Toby Winter, son of Telegraph sports writer Henry Winter.
It has been organised by poetry group Voices in Performance with all proceeds going towards Help for Heroes and Warchild.
Tickets for the night, on Sunday November 15 at 7.30pm, cost £7 and are available from the box office on 01329 556156.
