Red Cross in search of new volunteers
VOLUNTEERS are urgently needed to help allow Hampshire pensioners to hold on to their independence.
The British Red Cross is searching for new helpers to keep their medical loan service running from Red Cross House in Winchester.
This vital service provides wheelchairs, walking aids and other equipment to those with mobility problems and can often mean the difference between staying in hospital and being independent at home.
The service runs five days a week with at least two volunteers working each day. If you think you can give up a few hours a week call Ray Knight on 01962 891669.
