A MAN attempted to grab cash being delivered by a security van to a Hampshire bank at noon today.
But he failed and ran away empty handed, pursued by the security guard and a member of the public.
The incident happened outside Barclays Bank in Station Road, New Milton.
Police said no weapons were seen in the attempted robbery.
