SOUTHAMPTON schoolchildren took delivery of £300 worth of sports and cooking equipment as part of the supermarket campaign to get more kids more active and into healthy eating.
Children at Ludlow Junior School in Woolston were presented with the equipment after taking part in the Sainsbury’s Active Kids campaign.
By collecting the vouchers while shopping in store, the school community managed to pay for a range of goods from rugby balls to cooking and even gardening equipment to help the pupils grow green fingers.
