TWO cruise passengers have been arrested after an attempt to smuggle cocaine through Southampton docks.
Customs officers seized around one-and-a- half kilograms of the drug from the liner Black Watch, pictured.
The cocaine is said to have a street value of £70,000.
Ben Hartland, 23, and a 20-year-old woman were detained by border agency officials as they disembarked the ship, shortly after it docked at 6.30am.
The pair, who are both from Surrey, were llast night interviewed HM Revenue and Customs officials.
Hartland was this morning charged with the importing of cocaine.
The woman has been released on Police bail, while investigations are ongoing.
