A HAMPSHIRE charity that helps care for older people is celebrating after raising £1,800 through a daredevil firewalk.
Nine brave fundraisers, pictured, braved the hot coals in aid of Winchester based Brendoncare, which runs ten care centres and nursing homes, as well as 70 social clubs across Hampshire.
Fundraising manager Emma Digance said: “This was a great evening and we are so grateful to our nine walkers for their amazing support.
“They had a fantastic time, all putting in at least one repeat performance, and the large crowd watching showed their appreciation with cheers after each walk.”
All of the money has now been counted up following the fundraiser at this year’s Winchester Round Table firework spectacular.
