HAMPSHIRE freemasons have donated £14,000 to local hospices, including £1,351 to Naomi House, north of Winchester.
Brian Bellinger, the provincial grand master of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Freemasonry, said: “Over the last 25 years the Freemasons’ Grand Charity has awarded over £8m to hospice services throughout England and Wales.”
Other charities to benefit include Countess of Brecknock House, And-over, Earl Mountbatten Hospice, Isle of Wight, Oakhaven Trust, Lymington, Rowans, Portsmouth, St Michael’s Hospice, Basingstoke and The Rosemary Foundation, Petersfield.
