YOUNGSTERS at a Southampton school were given a treat when a former pupil and ex-Saints star dropped in.
Francis Benali, pictured, popped in before Christmas to offer some festive cheer for pupils at St Marks Junior School in Shirley.
More than 50 children at the school took part in a competition to design a Christmas Card for the ex-Saint’s company. Francis is now the director of building and contracting company Luken.
Jeena Khela from Year 4 was overall winner and individual year group winners were Eiana Araujo, Isabelle Bennett, Bethany Wellman and James Doyle from years three, four, five and six respectively.
