Rare birds stolen from Curdridge farm

DOZENS of rare birds have been stolen from a Hampshire farm.

The birds - which are worth a total of £5,000 - were taken from 10 coops in Curdridge last night.

A total of 45 rare ducks and chickens were taken sometime between 10pm and 8am.

PC Paul Symonds said: “This is a theft of high value rare birds and those responsible may attempt to sell them on.

“We would ask that anyone who has any information about where the birds might be, or has any information about those responsible for their theft, to get in contact with police as soon as possible.”

Anyone with information should contact Bishops Waltham police station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
