ONE hundred and fifty people of all ages and abilities limbered up to take part in a New Forest fun run.
The popular event in Copythorne takes place each year as part of the parish's colourful carnival week.
Carnival chairman Lynden Bowen told the Daily Echo: "It was really good. Around the same number of people took part this year as last but I think there were a lot more local people in the event this time.
"Some people walked, one girl was pushed around in a wheelchair, people over 60 ran and there were children's categories too."
Fun runners could choose between a 5km or 10km course.
The fastest entrant completed the shorter distance in just 17 minutes and everyone had crossed the finish line in about 90 minutes.
"It was a good community event, one that is proving to become more and more popular with each passing year," added Mrs Bowen.
