STAFF at Ravenswood House in Knowle, Fareham are challenging job seekers to visit their unit and see if a career in mental health can put a smile on their face.
The recruitment open day, on Thursday, June 16, at 11am until 3pm, will comprise a guided tour, a buffet lunch and the opportunity to talk to staff.
Current opportunities exist for health care support workers whose role it is to talk to patients, help engage them in recreational activities and carry out everyday tasks. Vacancies also exist for D/E grade RMNs keen to join a friendly, innovative unit and gain or further develop their forensic skills.
You don't need any previous experience to be a health care support worker and staff receive ongoing training and support, plus all the benefits of working for the NHS.
If you're interested in attending the recruitment open day at Ravenswood House, call Catherine Thomson, senior nurse, on 01329 836056 or e-mail: catherine.thomson@wht.nhs.uk
