Sir.-Through your letters page, I wish to thank all the members of the Tigwell family (pictured above), who have raised more than £400 for "Macmillan Miles Challenge" for Cancer Research.
They walked eight miles on Sunday in memory of Alan Tigwell, a dearly-loved son and brother, who died on May 29, 2004.
Our thoughts are always with him and we hope that the money raised will help to care and support other sufferers.
