PLEASE: Come and give your support to Timbers Nursery Summer Fete at the Hall for All, on Thursday, June 9, from 5pm until 6.30pm.

There will be a raffle, burgers and hotdogs, a name the teddy competition, cakes, treasure hunt and much more.

We need prizes for the raffle, tombola, and bottle tombola (wine and beer), cakes, sweets, and help on the evening to raise funds for our farm visit.

SURFERS: The Silver Surfers Day was a great success last Friday, so, if you're interested, it's held at the Oakridge Hall for All.

You can have bite-size beginners' lessons, find out how to send e-mail, shop online, access council services from home and much more.

A special shuttle bus will be running around the town centre.

If you want more information, call 01256 844844.

BASINGSTOKE Gym Club Summer Holiday Programme: Is for ages six months to four years, five years to 10 years, and ages 11 upwards, featuring summer camps, trampolining, open lessons and general gym.

For more information and prices, contact 01256 398421.

CONCERNS: If you have concerns relating to your neighbourhood, why not attend the Hall for All on the first Thursday of each month?

You can talk to local councillors, police, community wardens and neighbourhood co-ordinators from Sentinel Housing, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm.

Remember, they can't help you if you don't go.

OAKRIDGE Festival: This is on July 9, so there is still time to get involved.

Remember, it's being organised for Oakridge.

With your support, we may do more of these events.

Contact me on the number at the top of this column, or the Hall for All, if you can help.

I'm still in need of a bricklayer who can help with building a barbecue for the community centre.

If you can help, please call me as soon as possible.
