IT was his first gig in his home city in nearly two years but was it worth the wait?
Well he didn't perform any of his new material, which was a huge disappointment for the thousands of fans that had waited in the pouring rain for over three hours to see their hero 'do his thing'.
But he did ooze all the style and cool that we've come to expect from one of the biggest faces in British R'N'B. And the voice, well it's good to know that hasn't changed one little bit, remaining as slick and spine-tingling as ever.
Closing yesterday's 11th Power in the Park Craig performed five songs from his chart topping back catalogue including the sensual 7 Days and brilliant Fill Me In.
Was Craig David Born To Do It?
Damn right he was.
