BURGHCLERE Down Community Centre at Berry Way in Andover was a hive of activity at the weekend when the relatively new community gathered for a spring craft fair event.
The Burghclere Down Community Association organised the event to get the community together and foster a sense of community and belonging.
Association trustee, Simon Arter, said: "The main drive behind the event was to provide a springboard for the community as we are trying to integrate a large number of families into this area to the south west of Andover."
The fair attracted around a dozen stalls and a steady stream of people from the immediate area and further afield. As well as running the fair the association also produces a quarterly newsletter which goes to 2,000 homes in the area.
