THE new Totton & Eling Tennis Centre has joined forces with Countrywide Films, makers of Meridian TV's Country Ways, to provide a programme of adult coaching.
Countrywide's sponsorship will ensure at least 60 local adults currently not involved in tennis in any way, will be introduced (or reintroduced) to the game.
The scheme, though, is open only to adults living in SO40, SO42, SO43 and SO45 postcodes.
The hour-long sessions will be available on a Monday evening, and Friday and Saturday mornings.
Each course will run for four weeks and will cost £8.
The initiative will begin at the start of June.
To reserve a place, telephone Christine (023 8066 7532). For further information about the centre, visit www.tennis-service.net
