The final countdown has begun ahead of the 2005 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) making its annual appearance at Thruxton on Sunday.
The BTCC continues to grow rapidly in popularity with seven of this year's ten race meetings being shown live by Britain's biggest commercial terrestrial television channel, ITV1.
This year's Thruxton event is likely to surpass the huge crowd figure of 2004, when almost 20,000 fans flocked to the venue - the fastest on the BTCC calendar.
