WHITCHURCH produced a spirited performance against the in-form league leaders last Saturday.
They might easily have snatched a point in the closing stages as midfielder Chris Iddles struck the post and then had a goal disallowed for offside.
Already-promoted Town were lacking the services of skipper and former AFC Bournemouth midfielder John Bailey, whose knee injury had flared up again.
