FRANK LAMPARD hammers in a free-kick against Saints - one of many twists in a dramatic weekend at the bottom of the Premiership.
Lampard's set-piece took a cruel deflection off the Saints defensive wall and set Chelsea on their way to a 3-1 win at St Mary's.
But Saints boss Harry Redknapp wasn't too unhappy - claiming Crystal Palace's home loss to out-of-sorts Middlesbrough was a "bonus" for his fourth-from-bottom side.
But yesterday West Brom, for so long rooted to the foot of the table, climbed level on points with Saints after beating Euro hopefuls Everton.
Pompey's miserable run continued with a 3-1 loss at Fulham - they have now taken just one point out of a possible 18 and won just once since Boxing Day.
And we're just 20 days away from the Fratton Park derby ...
