SCOUTS and Guides: The Scout and Guide May fair, which is on Bank Holiday Monday, May 2, still needs helpers.

VILLAGE show: Don't forget that the schedule for the village show is now available from Redwoods.
The show is on Saturday, July 30.
CONGRATULATIONS: To Annie and Keith Fowler, of St Johns Road, who have become grandparents for the fifth time.
This is courtesy of their daughter Julie, who gave birth to a baby girl on Keith's birthday.
FOOTBALL: Oakley Yellow Boys Under-10 team narrowly missed out on victory in the Peter Houseman Youth League (PHYL) Cup.
After extra time, the score was 1-1 and it went to penalties but, despite a valiant effort by Oakley, the final score was 5-4 to Andover.
The man of the match award went to Oakley player Kane Cook.
Congratulations to the Oakley Junior School Year 5 team, which has reached the finals of the Hampshire schools cup.
