YOUNGSTERS were given a special tour of Winchester's historic cathedral on Saturday, giving them a chance to see what the city looks like from the top of the tower.
The view from the tower shows clearly the extent of the medieval city boundary and the countryside beyond.
A spokesman for the cathedral said: "This is a new venture for Winchester Cathedral to encourage young people to understand and take an interest in the history of the city."
