Nursling remain on course for a Drew Smith Group Southampton League and Cup double after a late winner gave them a 3-2 success against fellow title hopefuls Classic Comrades.
Wayne West gave Nursling the ideal start when he scored after two minutes, and Jake Wilson doubled the advantage by half-time.
Classic levelled through Jason Payne and Steve Brockway, but Adam Cook grabbed an 85th-minute winner to leave Nursling eight points off the pace with five games in hand.
Botley Village secured third spot as Andy Wakeley, James Dixey and Chris Berry clinched a 3-2 win against Otterbourne Res.
Hythe Aztecs pulled clear of the relegation zone with a 3-2 victory at AFC Target, Liam Collymore and Geoff Toussaint replying.
Hamble Harriers clinched the Senior 1 title with a 2-1 win against Burridge AFC in their final match, whilst rivals AFC Bassett could only draw 1-1 with North Baddesley. Andy McColm and Mark Allen netted for Hamble.
