Sir.-I would like to congratulate everyone who participated with either the mammoth sale, the collection tins, or the car boot sale, you raised a grand total of £1,110.16 for Melrose Hall's contribution to the south east Asia tsunami appeal.
None of this would have been possible without people from the Popley community coming forward to help.
Everyone was extremely happy with their bargains.
We are now sorting the children's clothes to take to Feed The Children, along with some other items.
Melrose Hall is having a children's-items-only sale on February 19, starting at 2pm.
