GOALKEEPER Lee Webber will be handed his Eastleigh debut tomorrow for their Ryman League Premier Division clash at Wealdstone.

Webber, pictured below, signed by manager Paul Doswell from Wessex League Fareham Town a fortnight ago, gets his big chance because regular keeper Wayne Shaw serves a one-match suspension after being sent off at Hampton & Richmond two weeks ago.

Centre half Rob Marshall - who was red-carded along with Shaw at Hampton - is also out, as is midfielder David Hughes. The ex-Saint must also serve a one-match ban after collecting five cautions.

"I get my injured players back and then I lose others through suspensions," sighed Doswell. "We're probably two of the Premier Division's form teams at the moment as Wealdstone were around the bottom of the table when they won 2-1 at our place earlier in the season.

"But they have won seven of their last eight matches and, if they happened to beat us tomorrow, they'd only be four points behind us."

Salisbury City's temporary manager Mitch Blake is relishing his second game in charge after seeing their Boxing Day derby at Eastleigh frozen off.

The fifth-bottom Whites entertain Slough Town tomorrow but boss Blake isn't planning to chop and change his side around.

"I don't envisage making many changes," said Blake. "I think that part of the reason why we are down near the foot of the table is because we've not been able to field a consistent side. What we need to do is concentrate and stop conceding goals because we are scoring goals for fun at the moment, especially Adam Wallace, whose pace and movement is great and he's on fire at present."

Mark Lisk is recovering from flu but should be ok for the game but striker Matt Tubbs serves a one-match suspension for accumulating five bookings.

Bashley manager Geoff Butler will be hoping to extend the club's fine Ryman Division 1 away form by notching up their eighth win on the road this season at Leatherhead.

In contrast, the Foresters have only recorded two wins at their Recreation Ground home this season and missed out again last Monday in a 2-2 draw with Newport IoW.

"A few weeks ago, we'd actually won more away games than table-toppers Wimbledon," smiled Butler.

"I think part of the reason for our away success comes from the fact that someone like Richard Gillespie gets behind teams and has the pace to latch on to balls over the top of defences, when sides come to us they play deeper." Mat Jones took a knock on the ankle against Newport but should be fine.

Newport IoW have decided to put their Ryman 1 game against Banstead at St Georges Park back to Bank Holiday Monday afternoon (3pm).

The Islanders will welcome back Leigh Cole, who missed the Bashley game with flu, and Tom Scovell who was away in Essex for a family Christmas.

Newport boss John Linington also hopes to have a new French striker on the substitutes' bench as well.

"I'd tell you who he is but I can't pronounce or spell his name yet!" laughed Linington.

Fleet Town manager Paul Holden is looking to capitalise on recent improved form at Burgess Hill tomorrow.

Gary Connolly will replace injured Fleet midfielder Phil Archibald, with new signing John Tucker stepping in for left-back Neil Morant, who still has a niggling leg injury.
