CHILDREN visiting a Southampton cinema could be going home with more than just film memories in the run-up to Christmas.
The Odeon in Leisureworld has organised a festive lucky dip in aid of the Southampton based Leukaemia Busters charity.
Father Christmas will be there today and tomorrow handing out presents to children who take part in a £1 lucky dip in the cinema's specially-designed winter wonderland room. His helpers will be there in his absence.
All proceeds from the lucky dip will help Leukaemia Busters fund research to develop new, improved and safer treatments for leukaemia and related conditions.
