SANTA: Father Christmas will be doing his final rounds during this week.

On Monday he will be at Bell Meadow Road, Valmeade Close, Compton Close, Church View, St John's Close, Kerfield Way, Bramshott Drive, Selbourne Close, Raven Road and Rectory Road.

On Christmas Eve he will be at Tesco again.

CHRISTMAS market: Hartley Wintney is holding a Christmas market on Monday, from 4.30pm until 7.30pm.

There will be carols on the common at 6.30pm, accompanied by the Basingstoke Silver Band, followed by a Mummers Play outside the Wagon and Horses at 7.30pm.

The evening will be rounded off by the Hook Eagle Morris dancers at 7.45pm.

There will also be plenty of local stall holders selling local produce and gifts.

ALL the churches in Hook will be holding Christmas services: The Sacred Heart - Christmas Eve, 10pm, Christmas Day, 10am, and Boxing Day, 10am.

St John the Evangelist - Christmas Eve Crib Service, 4pm, and Midnight Mass, 11.30pm, Christmas Day, 8am, Holy Communion, 10am, Boxing Day, 8am, and Holy Communion, 10am.

New Covenant Church - Christmas Day, 10.30am, "Joy to the World".

AND finally: Hook Eagle Morris dancers will be out again for a dance at The Swan in North Warnborough on Boxing Day, starting at 12.30pm.
