The 2004 Mixed Foursomes final saw holders Guy and Sue Davis up against Peter and Mandie Scott.
With similar handicaps there were no shots given to either pair and a close encounter was anticipated.
An advantage gained at the first hole by the Davis's was soon eradicated by the Scott's on the second which they followed up with an excellent birdie on the third. They increased this lead and were two up after eight holes.
