OUTSPOKEN business leader Digby Jones visited Southampton for a meeting with top businessmen and local entrepreneurs.
The CBI chief chaired a discussion at Southampton Enterprise Hub looking at solutions to some of the region's business issues and how to boost the numbers of entrepreneurs.
He was joined by DTI permanent secretary Sir Robin Young and a host of business leaders at the Hub, on Chilworth Science Park.
Steve Davis, director of the Southampton Enterprise Hub, said: "Both Digby and Sir Robin gained a clear understanding of the achievements of the Enterprise Hub network, and in particular how Southampton has a growing band of young entrepreneurs, eager for success."
