A SOUTHAMPTON firm has been honoured with an environmental award.
ABP Connect, based at Western Docks, Southampton, has been awarded a silver prize at the national Green Apple awards.
The annual awards are supported by the environment Agency. They seek to recognise companies who have a caring approach to the environment.
ABP Connect, a division of Associated British Ports (ABP) provides cargo handling, stevedoring, distribution and transportation services across the UK.
It was awarded for good practice in the scheme's automotive industry category.
