BUDDING fashion designers are being asked to make a hat for Pudsey the Bear in a Children in Need contest being hosted by Asda in Fareham.
The supermarket's charity mascot made a special appeal to youngsters aged three to 13 to make him a hat to keep his head warm during celebrations at the store on Children in Need Day next Friday.
Spokeswoman Trish Powell said: "The day is all about children, so we wanted to do something for them.
"If they bring their entries in to be judged by Pudsey, we will see which hat he prefers."
Youngsters should take their entries to Asda in Newgate Lane at 5pm on Wednesday, November 17.
Goodie bags will be given to each entrant and a prize of a portable TV/DVD player is up for grabs for the best entry.
