CONGRATULATIONS to the magnificent Rias Poole Pirates who have completed speedway's League and Cup double for the second year running.
With the SkyBet Elite League title safely tucked away weeks ago, the Pirates went into the second leg of the Knockout Cup final at Wimborne Road on Sunday trailing the Ipswich Witches by six points.
It took them just three heats to overturn the deficit before going on to win 57-39. Antonio Lindbach took the individual honours on the night with a five-ride paid maximum.
