Andover 14 Salisbury 26 Andover took on Salisbury in a hard-fought friendly at the Goodship Ground as both had a rest from league rugby.
Each played very well in wet conditions, and despite the result both will take much out of it.
Andover took the game to their neighbours creating a couple of early opportunities but Salisbury were never going to be easy opponents and they opened the scoring, after Andover were reduced to 14 men when Viliamu Tiko was sin-binned for a late tackle.
Salisbury made the most of their extra man and soon scored, stretching the defence to breaking point.
