Aces 36 Abbotts Ann 37 Abbotts Ann's shooting pair of GS Alison Needham and GA Jo Coles were in fine form, but GK Liz Smith rose to the challenge and GS Jen Best finished off the moves with some fine shots. Abbotts Ann managed to snatch glory by a single goal.

AD Aspinal 18 Two Step Third 25 Two Step Third exploded onto court and were five goals up within minutes. GD Donna Stickley closed down the shooting circle, with WA Toni Ayers running her socks. ADA came back into the game with some delightful moves, with GD Ruth Griffiths intercepting regularly and GA Liz Harwood shooting accurately. The last quarter saw Two Step once again dominate, and they ran out winners.

Lloyds TSB 21 SAS I 26 TSB took the early lead with GA Jo Mussel, who had a fantastic game finding space and making some telling passes into her shooter. But SAS soon got their usual rhythm going again, and GK Sue Waites stopped the supply with fast thinking interceptions, then moved the ball up the court for Anna Bowman to finish perfectly. Lynne Cummins played her usual athletic game to keep TSB going, but SAS pulled off a fine comeback.

Broughton 23 RPM II 19 RPM started their first quarter a player down, which gave Broughton an excellent head start. RPM's GS Lesley Alderman made all the difference, with some fast and accurate goals. She did well, as Broughton's GK Kate Murray hadn't conceded any goals in the first quarter. RPM's Carley Bridwell had speed on court to open up spaces that didn't exist, while Broughton's Jo Collis played a dependable game, and was always in the right place. Broughton kept a level head which won them their game.

HSA 36 SAS II 24 SAS only managed to field 6 players, but C Carly Watson played a major part in making up her team's shortfall. But GS Lucy Dargon wasfree to receive the ball, which she put away easily, having improved her game throughout the season. GD Donna Bowsher was once again earning her place for HSA. She has proved to be a secret weapon for a team who are earning more and more respect.

Two Step II 23 KJM 40 KJM's C Yvonne Wentworth played her usual active and supportive role in centre, despite being up against Jo Maybe, who gave her a run for her money. KJM pulled away as they gradually increased their score, with WA Elaine Aldridge showing she can play a great game anywhere, but she had a strong opponent in WD Yvonne Daniel for Two Step II.
