EVENT: Don't forget to put Heart in the Park in your diary, on Saturday, July 10.
It promises to be a fun day for the whole family, organised by Hook New Covenant Church, Sacred Heart Church and St John's Church.
There will be games, races, music and drama.
It runs from 1pm until 4pm, at Hartletts Park, followed by an evening of entertainment in the community centre.
The day's events are free, but you will need to book a ticket for the evening session, which costs £5.
LOOKING ahead to next week: The Alzheimer's Society Basingstoke and District branch will be holding another carers' afternoon on Tuesday, July 13, at the Old Raven House.
This provides an opportunity for carers to share their experiences with others in a similar situation.
