INVESTIGATIONS are to be launched into setting up a covered market in Eastleigh.
Borough officials will conduct the study at the same time as looking further into the possibility of introducing a street market.
Eastleigh Council's Local Area Committee for the town voted for the double study, which will end with a report back to the committee in September.
The covered market could be built in Leigh Road precinct or on the car park at the end of Leigh Road Rec.
