ISLE of Wight MP Andrew Turner has launched a campaign to save Shanklin's job centre from closure.
The government is planning to shut down the Jobcentre because it does not have access for disabled people.
Now, Mr Turner is appealing for property owners in the area to come forward with alternative sites for a new Jobcentre which could be used by wheelchair users.
Mr Turner said: "We have very little time left if we want Jobcentre facilities to remain in the Sandown Bay area."
