HALL jumble sale: The sale on Saturday, March 20 raised more than £350 for hall funds.

Many thanks to everyone who helped, gave jumble and came along and bought things that afternoon.

One sour note, the large, and I mean large, perspex-covered jumble sale sign was taken from outside the hall the day before.

This sign cost quite a lot of money and effort to make, so the hall and community are the losers.

Not only was the jumble sale sign taken but also the small door bell sign that was attached to the front door.

The committee had put the sign on the door so that the partially-sighted could more easily locate the door bell. I hope whoever did this will think before they take things again.
