BRAMLEY and Romans Floral Society: Members and friends enjoyed the March meeting, when Jane Hass gave an interpretation of her holiday memories.

Childhood holiday in Devon, Easter in Bruge, Tenerife, Christmas in America and a visit to Paris were all included.

There were several new members, and the sales table, revised by Pat Sibyl, was very busy.

The society will meet again today, at 7.30pm, in Bramley Village Hall.

LUNCH Club: The next meeting is on Wednesday, at 11.30am in the village hall.

There will be the usual arrangements for transport. For any enquiries, telephone Frank on 881133.

THE Vyne: On Thursday, for children and the young at heart, there will be an Easter egg hunt, from 10am to 3pm.

The usual admission price plus £1.50 per trail sheet will apply. There is no need to book, just turn up.

On Sunday, April 25, at 2pm, there will be the popular bluebell walk.

POTATO competition: Seed potatoes for the children's competition are going very slowly and plenty are still available from Robert Dance at Caron, Coopers Lane, and Anne Porter at 9 Longbridge Road.

Instructions will be with each potato and will cost 10p. Anyone under 16 on show day (August 28) can enter.

PALM Sunday: On Sunday, Holy Communion will be celebrated in Little London at 9am, and there will be a Service of Matins at St James', Bramley, at 10.30am.

CRICKET: The Bramley Cricket Club is very keen to recruit new members.

If anyone is keen to play regularly or on occasional Sundays, call Nigel on 882909.
