TWO leading female stand-ups, Natalie Haynes and Sarah Kendall, go head-to-head to bring down the house at New Greenham Arts.

Natalie's half of the show is a sort of sequel to her Perrier Comedy Award-nominated Six of Degrees of Desolation.

Troubled Enough - the new material - features Natalie (pictured) with the same hair but new shoes, and sees her a little cheerier than before because she has learned to persecute the things she used to fear.

She delves into her tragic past - which has led to her unhealthy fascination for Dick Van Dyke in Diagnosis Murder - moving from one deranged subject to another.

She frets over badgers with tuberculosis, finds herself persona non grata in Stoke-on-Trent, examines her incapacity to meet her boyfriend's malnourished family, encounters non-celebrity celebrity Peggy Entwhistle, and celebrates her pathological loathing of anyone under 20.

Then there's Sarah Kendall, Herald Angel Award winner 2002, coming direct from Australia where she recently sold out shows at the Sydney Opera House and Melbourne Comedy Festival.

Sarah is fast becoming known as a truly international comedian. Having become a TV personality in her native Australia, she's now taking on Britain and America. Her last three Edinburgh shows met with massive critical acclaim.

The performance is on Saturday, March 13, at 8pm. For tickets at £9 (£7 concessions) call the Corn Exchange box office on 01635 522733 or book online at www.cornexchangenew.com
