A MID-TERRACE cottage in the centre of the village of Overton is listed and dates back to the mid-17th century.
The thatched cottage stands in a terrace in Winchester Street and was extended and modernised during the 1980s.
The beamed home is selling with a price guide of £230,000 through the Basingstoke office of agents Dreweatt Neate, who describe it as retaining "period charm".
The front door opens into a beamed sitting room with a large open fireplace plus the stairs to the two bedrooms and a bathroom, which has exposed floorboards.
There is also a downstairs shower room and the kitchen-diner is fitted with wood-trimmed units, which are inset with an oven and hob.
A stable door in the kitchen opens to a garden terrace, which has steps up to the lawn and a gravelled seating area beyond.
