Fareham Town clamber into the top six after they notched up an impressive 3-0 success at Hamble ASSC, who had won their previous five matches.
"It was a very good performance against an improving Hamble side. That's six points from our last two games with seven goals scored and two clean sheets," smiled Fareham manager Jon Gittens.
Two goals just before half-time hurt Hamble. On 40 minutes, Danny Thompson's through ball released Abdoulie Ndoye who lobbed the 'keeper and, four minutes later, Danny Hopkins's cross was spectacularly volleyed home from 25 yards by Lloyd Mitchell.
Another stunning strike after 70 minutes sealed the points for Fareham, Ndoye cutting inside his marker and lashing home an unstoppable drive from fully 30 yards.
