BAT's topsy-turvy campaign continues. After beating Eastleigh in the Russell Cotes Cup in midweek, they returned to earth with a bump and a 2-0 defeat away at Christchurch.
A superb delivery by James Bailey-Pearce enabled Tom Hughes to head the home side into a 67th-minute lead, with Paul Rideout grabbing their second goal ten minutes from time.
Christchurch could even afford the luxury of a missed first-half penalty when Ross Edwards blazed a debatable spot kick wide of the target.
