AN INDEPENDENT survey has ranked Southampton University's Master of business Administra-tion course among the top 30 in Europe.

The Economist Intelligence Unit has just published its league table of the top hundred MBA full-time programmes in the world, following an extensive survey of students

The quiz asked the key factors they use when choosing a business school.

MBA Director at the University's School of Management, Dr Charles Wilkinson said: "It's great to see some recognition of their efforts and commitment. In 2003 students have enrolled from 15 different countries and recruitment of part-time students has once again increased.

"The University's MBA programme for experienced managers has been significantly revised and restructured following a year-long consultation involving students, alumni, employers and the School of Management. Dr Wilkinson said: "New content in the core programme is largely concerned with e-business issues. The wide range of option modules already available has been increased by specialisation in entrepreneurship, or education management."
