TWO men are in hospital on the Isle of Wight after a road accident in Newport.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the single-car smash, which happened shortly after 6pm on Saturday on Whitehouse Road.
The red Mazda RX7 was extensively damaged in the crash, which happened on the northbound carriageway, near the junction with Pullmans Road.
The two local men, aged 42 and 49, are in a serious condition at St Mary's Hospital.
