Hampshire's final match of the season will be at home to Staffordshire with only two changes showing from the teams who lost to Yorkshire last month.

Both come in the Men's B team with Pete Castle and Robert Heard available again, replacing the absent John Burbidge.

Darren Hawken ret-urns to the reserves, joined by newcomer Dennis Murrell while Danny Ballard retains his place in the Men's B team.

After the disappointments in York-shire, it is important Hampshire stamp their authority on Staffordshire as they are grasping on to second place in the Men's A section with Cambridgeshire level on points.

It is not likely Hampshire can make up the six-point difference between themselves and Yorkshire at the top but, with the Tykes visiting Lancashire, they could cut the deficit considerably.

Hampshire's ladies A team are just one point off the bottom and without a win this season and, with manager Brenda Cummings celebrating her 200th game in charge, this would be an apt time to get off the mark.

That big 9-3 defeat to Yorkshire for the Men's B team ended their challenge for the top spot in the section but the Ladies B team are just one point behind lead- ers Cheshire with Yorkshire and Essex right on their tails. It will all be going down to the wire there.
