Hampshire professional gofers James Ablett and Jon Le Roux were on the receiving end of an astonishing comeback in the semi-finals of the Sunningdale Foursomes last weekend.
Alresford left hander Ablett and Worldham Park professional Le Roux were four up against Wentworth professional Simon Griffiths and 22-year-old England amateur international Ross Fisher.
But Fisher's awesome driving inspired an amazing turnaround which saw the Hampshire pair lose out at the first extra hole with Fisher and Griffiths going on to beat father and son Pip and Jamie Elson, the world junior champion, 4 & 3 in the final.
