WOLVES legend Steve Bull is a big fan of Saints fans' hero Matt Le Tissier and says: "There will be two gods in St Mary's tomorrow!"

Bull, whose profile in the Black Country matches that of Le Tiss on the South Coast, remains a fervent Wolves supporter following a glorious 13-year career at Molineux.

In a gesture typical of the ex-striker, the former England international will shun the St Mary's directors' box tomorrow in preference for a place in the away stands with a group of die-hard Wolves mates.

He said: "I can't wait for the game. I'm going down with 12 lads and I'll be in the back of the stand cheering the lads on with a pie and a beer.

"The directors' box isn't really for me. I'm feeling pretty confident the way Wolves are going at the moment. I definitely think that the final of the FA Cup or promotion are realistic possibilities.

"When the draw was made I was thinking I would rather have Southampton than probably anyone. They are beatable and I'm feeling quite confident.

"The thing with Southampton is that they are either brilliant or fairly poor and there isn't often that much in between.

"I saw them play Tottenham on television and they looked superb. But the game against Everton was on the box the other week and they weren't too impressive.

"I'm sticking with The Wolves for this one."

Like Le Tissier for Saints, Bull, pictured above, is a matchday ambassador with Wolves. He said: "Matt Le Tissier loves the club and I'm the same at Wolves. It's in your blood and it's hard to prise something like that away.

"I just never wanted to leave and I'm sure he felt the same about Southampton - so I guess there will be two gods in St Mary's for the game! I enjoy doing the ambassadors bit, sometimes just a few minutes of your time can make a lot of difference to someone else and I'm sure that's how Matt Le Tissier feels.

"But my ambition would be to manage Wolves, that would be a dream come true."

Bull believes Wolves' team ethic could be crucial, adding: "The Wolves' big strength is that they play as a team, there are no big individuals and they just keep chipping away.

"It will be a big thing for Dave Jones, he will have a point to prove, he will want to show that he has built a better team at Wolves than they have at Saints.

"He did a good job at Southampton and Wolves and I hope he gets a good reception.

"But James Beattie will be a major threat. He is a good goalscorer, he will score goals wherever he is and he's on good form at the moment."
