NEVILLE Roach and Craig McAllister are set to re-kindle their deadly strike partnership at Harrow tomorrow and try to halt Basingstoke Town's recent run of defeats.

Having lost five games in a row, the Camrose Blues are crying out for a victory when they travel to Middlesex. And the possible return of McAllister - who missed Town's last two matches with a tight hamstring - could be the boost the team needs.

Providing he suffered no adverse reaction during last night's training, McAllister will resume duties with Roach at Earlsmead tomorrow.

It's a combination that can certainly get Town's season back on track. The marksmen have plundered 39 goals between them so far.

Manager Ernie Howe said: "We have missed Craig alongside Neville. As a partnership they compliment each other. "Their success this season has perhaps made opponents respect them more and give them space in which to play.

"But we need to get scoring again and having them back together will be a plus."

McAllister's comeback game on Tuesday night in Europe could not have been more different.

The 22-year-old played 60 minutes for the England National Game XI at the Albert Park Stadium in Ostende against the Belgium FA.

Although they lost 3-1, McAllister played well with little service, going close with a trio of headers.

Pictured in his England shirt (right), he quipped: "My dad, who's a proud Scot, has told me I'm going to burn for playing for the Sassenachs! But it was a great experience."

On-loan signing Chudd Harbur continues in goal as Scott Tarr serves the second of a three-game ban. Ian Dickens serves a one-match suspension after picking up five bookings.

Howe watched Harrow beat Hampton 1-0 on Tuesday night. He said: "They will look to cause us problems with free-kicks and corners, so we have to make sure we don't concede them. We've had problems dealing with crosses in recent weeks."

Meanwhile, Tom Foster is in talks with Bognor after they made a seven-day approach for him about a possible move.
