Having survived a trip into the unknown at Colwyn Bay, Havant & Waterlooville have got their wish of a home tie in February 22's last 16 - against the winners of tonight's delayed fourth round clash between Worksop Town and Hayes.

"Every tie's going to be tough from here on in, but we could ask for no more than a home game," said H&W co-manager Mick Jenkins. "This'll really give the supporters something to look forward to."

Nottinghamshire outfit Worksop Town, who famously had England star Chris Waddle playing for them two seasons back, are currently lying sixth in the Unibond Premier Division - a healthy 29 points clear of relegation-threatened Colwyn Bay.

They will surely start as favourites on home territory tonight against former Conference club Hayes, who are lying tenth in their first season down in the Ryman Premier.

Given the choice, Jenkins would prefer to face Middlesex side Hayes, purely for reasons of proximity.

He said: "If it were Hayes, it would be easier to get up and see them, but that would be the only reason for choosing them over Worksop.

"I'm just overjoyed to have got through.

"We had to work hard for our 2-0 result at Colwyn Bay and it was nice to see the players get their reward.

"Alec Masson had a massive game at the back and both Neil Champion and Chris Ferrett played through the pain barrier."

Hawks had been due to host Dover Athletic in the Dr Martens Premier Division tonight, but the game has been postponed because of Dover's Trophy involvement at Scarborough.
